As an interior designer, I bring my own tastes and expertise to every project, but it’s your needs that I aim to serve. How It Works
Whether evaluating what you already own and making it work better for your space—by proposing new layouts and adding key pieces that tie it together—or designing rooms from scratch, I provide comprehensive design proposals through a collaborative process that’s client-paced, transparent, and easy to follow using cutting edge digital tools. Interior design services are either priced by the hour beginning at $75/hr or through lump project fees based on project and client need.

In order to understand the full scope of your needs, every project begins with an in-person consultation (virtual when necessary). This allows me to see your space, hear your point of view, and get a better sense of your style, lifestyle, and budget. If your project seems like a good fit, you’ll receive an in-depth project proposal before we move forward.

Through digital design platform Spoak, every Finely Feathered client receives an online portfolio that contains everything from mood boards and inspiration photos to floor plans, to-scale furniture layouts, room mock ups, and itemized furniture and decor sourcing lists—all customized for them. Spoak’s user-friendly interface allows clients to provide direct feedback, collaborate on ideas, directly connect to online product listings, and keeps all aspects of the project accessible and neatly organized.

Once designs have been finalized and products have been ordered, the final stage of the process occurs when Finely Feathered oversees the installation of new wall and window treatments, furnishings, and decor. For max wow factor, Kate Lynn will style each space using finishing-touch accessories and florals. Then, it’s yours to keep and enjoy—every single day.

Need more of a refresh than a total redesign? Look no further than Finely Feathered’s styling services. With my eye for pattern, color, scale, and texture, I can help spruce up your decorative touches, fill in blank walls, and arrange tricky spaces like built-in shelving, entryways, mantels, and awkward corners. My background in floral design means plants, flowers, and elements found in nature always make an appearance.
Hate to shop? I can do that part for you! (You’ll get veto power, of course.) I live for the hunt and have an endless treasure trove of curated art and one-of-a-kind objects from antique fairs, flea markets, thrift shops, and my dirty-secret budget destinations. I’ll do the research, digging, hunting, and running around, delivering items to you for final selection.

Sourcing and styling services begin at $65/hour with a $250 minimum. Custom price packages per room or per project are always available.
